Talk through your projectTHE WORK / BACKLINE RENTALS & SUPPORT
Start with the artist’s rider.
Through our partnership with Skip’s Music, we arrange rentals of guitar amplifiers and cabinets, bass rigs, guitars, drum kits, cymbals, hardware, keyboards, and synthesizers. We work with artist riders for gigs, festivals, recording sessions, and photo shoots. Our access to Skip’s Music rental inventory expands the options we can arrange; equipment sourced from Skip’s remains owned by Skip’s Music.
A useful rider identifies requested equipment and any acceptable alternatives. Include quantities, accessories, and the details the artist considers essential. If a specific model is required, make that clear at the start. Equipment and substitutions need to be discussed and confirmed for your date.
The schedule matters as much as the list. A rehearsal, soundcheck, or early setup can change when equipment needs to be on site. Let us know about delivery access, stage location, load-in restrictions, and the collection window. Include whether you want to discuss setup assistance or a technician during the performance.
For a show with several artists, share each rider and the running order. Identify any equipment the artists have already agreed to share. This gives everyone a clearer picture of what changes between sets and what stays on stage.
SELECTED OPTIONS
Backline options to discuss.
Send the artist’s preferred models and acceptable alternatives. These examples help start the conversation; the final equipment list and availability are confirmed for your date.
LET’S MAKE A PLAN
A few details.
A clearer starting point.
Send what you have. We can work through the open questions together.
Send the full list.
Share the artist rider or a written equipment request. Mark must-have details and any alternatives already approved by the artist.
Explain the handoff.
Include the event date, venue, delivery contact, access details, and the time equipment must be ready. Tell us who will handle it on site.
Confirm the arrangement.
We’ll discuss availability, options, delivery, setup, and any technician support. Confirm the agreed equipment and timing before the event.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Questions about
backline rentals & support.
Can you guarantee a particular make or model?
Availability is confirmed for each request. Send the exact requirement and any artist-approved alternatives. A request is the starting point for a conversation, rather than a confirmed equipment reservation.
What if the artist has not supplied a rider?
Start with a list of what they play and what they are bringing. Ask which instruments, amplifiers, stands, or other stage items they need provided, then send us those details.
Does backline include a PA and audio engineer?
Those are separate production needs. Tell us if you also need live sound or engineer staffing so we can discuss the complete scope alongside the stage equipment.
